June 2017. Orange County Superior Court, Harbor Justice Center, Newport Beach. Charges of a Hit and Run, Making a False Statement to the Police, Presenting False Documents, and Driving on a Suspended license charges filed. Client met with the police, and then later found out a warrant was filed for his arrest by the California Highway Patrol and the Orange County District Attorney’s Office for the above charges.
Results: All charges dismissed. Our firm filed and argued a Serna motion challenging the statute of limitations, resulting in a dismissal of the entire case.
